To Infinity and Beyond!
The photograph on the right was taken mid-Atlantic of most of the "Maritime Memories" group, all of whom were ex-shipping staff, whether sea or shore based; ex passengers who remembered travelling on liner "line voyages"; people who were married to ex-shipping personnel or were just interested in old style passenger ships and the life aboard them. The flags were of former major and well known shipping companies

The food on board was excellent, generous and in fact one could be fed five times a day if desired....
a very quick way to put on weight!

Every so often there would be a special dinner menu recreating the menu of a particular shipping line many years before. One such is shown above, this commemorating Canadian Pacific. There was always a Chef's Special as well as a full menu so no-one needed to go hungry. Other shipping lines featured were : Cunard White Star, South American Saint Line, Blue Star Line, Royal Mail Line, Grace Line and Booth Line
