Lymington Church of England School, Lymington, Hampshire. Brockenhurst Secondary Modern School, Brockenhurst, Hampshire, and it was whilst at this school that I had my second school outing to London, the first being when at Priamry School, when a large group of students went to London to visit 1951 The Festival of Britain Exhibition, at the South Bank, South Kensington and Battersea Funfair - taken over by the event organisers for the duration. There were good printed guides and catalogues covering the various activities. The one shown here (right) is that of the Science section of the Festival at the Science Museum in South Kensington. | ![]() |
