United Grand Lodge of England

Freemasonry in Victoria

The Victorian Grand Lodge was formed in 1889 and used the combined arms of England, Scotland, and Ireland to form its own Grand Lodge Insignia.

The Grand Lodge produces an excellent magazine which is entitled "The Victorian Mason" a copy of which is sent to every subscribing member of a Victorian Lodge.

Master Masons, Australian and UK

My late Father-in-Law, W.Bro. Phil Edwards originally intoduced me into Freemasonry, when on a visit to England in the early 1980s. Whilst I was in the office of Junior Warden he was instrumental in enabling me to join Deepdene Lodge No. 356, Victorian Constitution, as a 'Joining Member' thereby being able to keep a link with the country in which I spent 20 years.
